About Me

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Brainspotting Practioner Level II

Hi! My name is Kelly and I am so glad you're here!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate providing counseling to adults across Texas. I work with people navigating trauma, shame, relationship and attachment struggles, and patterns around sex, love, and intimacy.

I want counseling to be a place where you can talk openly about your experiences, including the things that are hard to say out loud, and know you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care.

My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by my own experiences. I know what it’s like to do the hard work of looking at your own experiences, recognizing patterns that are keeping you stuck, and learning a different way forward. I’ve been there too.

That experience shaped my desire to create a counseling space where you can be fully known without fear of shame or judgment and supported as you begin to heal and make meaningful changes in your life.

Education & Certifications

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, completing comprehensive graduate academic and clinical counseling training to fulfill the requirements for professional counseling licensure in Texas. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Michigan State University.

I am a Level II Brainspotting practitioner, trained by Dr. Pie Frey, a pioneer in the development of Brainspotting. I am also Level I trained in Restoration Therapy and have been certified in RelateStrong for Couples. I am currently working toward Sex Therapy Certification through the Institute for Sexual Wholeness. I have experience with 12 Step recovery principles across a variety of recovery programs and fellowships.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years working in both corporate and nonprofit settings, where I learned the value of relationships, communication, and meaningful connection. Those experiences continue to shape the perspective I bring to counseling.

A Little More About Me

Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my family. I’m also someone who listens to music constantly and treats Spotify Wrapped like a yearly personality assessment.

I enjoy going to concerts and traveling whenever I can. I feel most grounded near the ocean or watching a good sunset.

Overall, I value meaningful connection, curiosity, and finding reasons to laugh.
